Spectember day 26 Stripes......

ja hoor hier is dag 26 van Spectember bij Spectrum Noir.... Vandaag is het thema Strepen. Dus ik heb met de SN Midas Gold inkt pad een gestreepte achtergrond gemaakt, door low tack tape op wit karton te plakken en daarna de gedeeltes in gekleurd met mijn blending tool en de Midas inkt pad. De stempel is de Blossoming bouquet van Crafter's Companion. Ingekleurd met de SN Illustrator markers GB1-8-11, GY2-4, GG2-4-5. Ik heb de Neutrals Textured Cardstock pad gebruikt.

yes here is day 26 of Spectember at Spectrum Noir .... Today the theme is Stripes. So I made a striped background with the SN Midas Gold ink pad, by sticking low tack tape on white cardboard and then colored the parts in with my blending tool and the Midas ink pad. The stamp is the Blossoming bouquet from Crafter's Companion. Colored with the SN Illustrator markers GB1-8-11, GY2-4, GG2-4-5. I have used the Neutral Textured Cardstock pad.

Blossoming Bouquet....

Vandaag heb ik dit kaartje om te laten zien aan jullie. Ik heb de stempel Blossoming Bouquet van Crafter's Companion gestempeld met de Finesse Alcohol proof Black op white stampingcard van Sheena Douglass. Ik heb de stempel gekleurd met de Spectrum Noir Triblend markers. De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met een oude pagina uit een boek en deze gekleurd met de Spectrum Noir Harmony waterreactive inkpads. Ik heb er met de waterbrush waterdruppels op gespetterd om het papier te bleken. Daarna heb ik er een swirly stikrandje omheen gemaakt met zilver Madeira draad. Ik gebruik meestal witte basis kaarten maar bij deze vond ik de groene toch wat mooier passen. En het geheel nog gemat op Pearl Paars karton van Crafter's Companion.

Today I have this card to show you. I stamped the Blossoming Bouquet stamp from Crafter's Companion with the Finesse Alcohol proof Black on white stamping card from Sheena Douglass. I colored the stamp with the Spectrum Noir Triblend markers. I made the background with an old page from a book and colored it with the Spectrum Noir Harmony water-reactive inkpads. I splashed water droplets on it with the waterbrush to bleach the paper. Then I made a swirly stitching border around it with silver Madeira thread. I usually use white basic cards, but I thought the green ones fit better. And it is all matted on Pearl Purple cardboard from Crafter's Companion.

Happiness blooms from within....

Vandaag niet al te veel poespas op mijn kaartje voor vandaag. Ik heb de Crafter's Companion Blossoming Bouquet gestempeld met Archival en gekleurd met de Spectrum Noir Aquamarkers. Achtergrond is ook gedaan met de aquamarkers en een stukje mica/acetate waar je spetters op maakt en die druk je dan rondom je gestempelde afbeelding. Eromheen heb ik met de hand wat stikrandjes gemaakt. En gemat op groen karton. Tekst zit bij deze stempel dus past perfect. Een paar sequins en de kaart is klaar.
